Sustainable Lumber Company

Sustainable Lumber Co. brings the character of Montana wood into homes and commercial spaces nationwide through its line of handcrafted flooring, wall paneling, and ceiling boards. Every product is made from reclaimed, salvaged, recycled, or sustainably certified wood and milled at the company’s plant in a small rural Mennonite community, where eleven families work together on production. Its Missoula showroom and Arlee distribution warehouse support customers across the region and beyond. The company’s products appear in a wide variety of projects, from DIY remodels and mountain cabins to custom residences, resort communities, restaurants, commercial buildings, and state and federal parks. Because Sustainable Lumber Co. sells mill-direct, customers work straight with the team producing their materials, and orders ship factory-direct throughout the continental U.S. The business is guided by what it calls Montana integrity, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, fair dealing, and protecting the natural resources it depends on. To see products in person, schedule an appointment at the showroom at 2935 Stockyard Rd, Unit L-1, Missoula, MT 59808, or call (406) 642-7120 to order samples.
